Re: 252P LINEAR with Alpy 600 From Pic du Midi

Hi Jean-Paul,

Great reult of this comet-observation ! I tried this as well with a 0.4-m newton, but in very high lightpollution and don't have any good result, also after 6 images of 10 min exposure each;

great work !

kind regards
Erik

Re: Hi from Belgium

Hello Erick, Your 're wecom on the forum and spectroscopy world. Yes, the first steps with ISIS are difficult because the soft requires *very accurate data* to give a result. Calibration ALPY600 with ISIS software

Hi all, I have an ALPY600 spectroscope with guiding module, since a two weeks installed on my 0.4-m newton telescope. After some experimentation, I decided to purchased the calibration unit as well and installed a few days back. I took a calibration lamp spectrum and a flat and I try to apply it in ...

Hi from Belgium

Hallo to all members of ARAS, I am relatively new in the world of astronomical spectroscopy. I'm busy since 2005 with actively observing, but most of all, almost 100% with observing of comets with CCD. My first step I set in 2014 with a staranalyzer 100 to try spectroscopy, i was intended to also ta...
