Welcome on the forum, Li.

You can load commongraphic format images, such as .bmp, .jpg, .png.

For fit images, you can only input a link (URL)

Thank you Francois. I have a software called "jpg2fits",it can change both these 2 kinds formats each other. I'll try it.

I'd like to know if there is a function in ISIS that can do the same job?

You can attach any file type including fits by zipping it first eg
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=333
though I expect there is a file size limit

Thank you Robin~ I have seen the link you showed me and found that your .ZIP is about 20K, could you tell me or if you know how big the ZIP for FIT transferring is permitted at the forum?

I open all files by MaXimDL and save as png. Now I list the circumstance when I made the evaluation for my QHY6Pro:
1). ambient temperature is 26 degree.
2). CCD can get its coldest temp. : 30 degree lower than the ambient one. [this value is told by the manufacturer] in the 6Pro's manual it recommends that the best cold-making temp. is -15~-20. ATTENTION: this is NOT the temperature difference to the ambient temp.
3). I set CCD to -5. dark is 300sec.
4). flat is taken by putting 9 pieces of white paper on a light-viewer that usually is used for photography. Time is 1ms
5). Capture software can set both gain & offset of camera: gain=0; offset=116 the range of offset can be set between 0---255

ISIS-----image display: I set HI treshold at 6848; LOW is 0. Because of my little CCD that has active pixel x=752 y=585, the domain is 32767. I just tried to set lower than 1000ADU both HI and LOW as the sentence mentioned in Quick Start part 2 :"You must adjust viewing thresholds below 1000 ADU value because the low intensity of the image. " But the result is the same as setting at 6848.

X1=315 X2=465; Y1=280 Y2=380
the result:
gain: 0.329 RON: 7.36 [QHY's homepage says ron is 6--8]
bias mean level: 892.1
dark mean level: 1033.3
dark signal: 0.1752

I'd like to know if my 6Pro little CCD camera can do the scientific work for spectrum?

I just WINRAR all FIT files, but they are about 500K. If you want to get them to try on your PC, please contact me.
Is there anything wrong which ocurred or that I must do but forgot to do in the scientific and standard evaluational procedure? If YES, please teach me and lots of thanks for you who give me great help.

Looking forward to hearing from all of you...
