Hope this question is appropriate.
I'm unable to load a fits file to Vspec with an error message:
Component not correctly registered:a file is missing or invalid.
I have not seen this before.
It appears to be named normally. ie: A1VSAO61391.FIT
Same issue occurs with small letters fit.
Thanks, Dean

Dean,
Which vesrion of VSpec are you using?
Is the fit file an image or a profile?

Dean
Maybe something special in the fits header which FITS 'standard' has trouble with. Emailed me the fits file, I can have a quick look.
