PN candidates confirmation at Calern Observatory

Post by Olivier GARDE »

We are at Calern Observatory (near Nice in France) for 5 nights on a on meter telescope with a LISA spectrograph to confirm planetary nebula candidates.

Here's our first positive result of a candidate and this is not a planetary nebula but an active nucleus galaxy with a redshift z=0,043

Spectrum taken with a LISA spectrograph (50 µm slit) and a one meter telescope from OCA (Observatoire de la Côte d'Azur)
