Hi all,

I just noticed that Edmund Optics now carries a 1 inch diameter 600 lp/mm 600nm volume phase holographic grating for $295 US.
"Gratings feature extremely low scatter loss, low polarization dependency, and a durable design." And they are antireflection coated both sides and feature >85% peak efficiency!
These are perfectly suited to amateur astronomical spectroscopes.
