Hello
I just take a look at 64 B star obsrved this night and i find two new candidate:
HD 16485
HD 34906
And also, find a mistake in spectral classification... BD+59 205 suppose to be a B1V according CDS Simbad but i find a spectral type look like "M4V star"
I control the guiding image, make a astrometrie, that the good astrometric position at 0.5 arsec.. And so so bright star in the region.
Regards

That is Interesting Thierry,Thierry Lemoult wrote:

Skiff's database
http://vizier.u-strasbg.fr/viz-bin/VizieR?-source=B/mk
has 2 old references from 1959/1960 for this star. Both suggest a hot star (OB- and B2)
Has something happened to it?
Does the brightness look right in your spectrum? ( V mag 10.6 B mag 10.8 according to the Skiff reference )
Cheers

number 43 in table 1b

Re: 2 additional candidates B in emmission
Thanks Robin, i took a unfiltered picture with my electronic finder, i think i could use it for a estimation of the V magnitude.
I will do this tomorrow.
One thing sure, is the field, that the correct star in the slit.

I check the photometry of star BD+59 205 according the field camera. The unfiltere magnitude is about 10.8 +/-0.2
So that consistant with published photometry.
