My interest in astronomy came many years ago thanks to a book, a special gift that gave me when I was a boy. After years of visual observation, followed by chemical astrophotography first and then digital experience, I reach amateur spectroscopy in recent times. I am fascinated by the universe and everything that allows us to discover its secrets. That is why I love spectroscopy, probably the most powerful method of investigation.
I live in L'Aquila, at centre of Italy and my little observatory (C9.25 on Losmandy G11, all inside a 2x2 meters roll-off wood house) is located at 720 mt altitude in suburban area. I work with Star Analyser 100 and Lhires III with 150, 600 and standard 2400 g/mm, using a Starlight Xpress SXV-H9 CCD camera.
I hope, with this new forum, to give some contribution to community and to learn something more about spectroscopy.

Best regards and thank you for having created this new opportunity for exchange of information!
