A similar request for monitoring X Per had been received from Alexander Salganik University of Turku so it looks like there is some interest in this object again. See

Call for spectroscopic monitoring of X Per 2025 - Alexander Salganik
I have received a request from Alexander Salganik University of Turku for long term spectroscopic monitoring of the X Ray Binary X Per which I am relaying to the various spectroscopy groups. It is similar monitoring to that requested by Paul Roche which covered mainly 2018-2021 and was reported on ...

Re: airmass
I have used this excellent resource for many years to plan my observations of new transients and view the target field and details in SIMBAD. The author is a professional astronomer and responsive to suggestions of additions/improvements.

And yet another prediction ATel using my high resolution H alpha spectrum from the ARAS database. (I have no connection with the authors)

I think they should have at least added a question mark ;-)

Re: eShel merged orders issue
Hi Paul,
I don't know the cause but It seems to me that it is not a stitching problem but a problem with the individual orders which show flip ups at the edges. The stitching is trying its best to fit to include those edge effects. A problem with the blaze profile in those regions ?

Re: eShel calibration set-up
James,
I can't see your images either.
I have seen this kind of problem before. I think it is a browser security setting that prevents displaying images hosted elsewhere on a non secure (ie not https) site. For example this is the address of one of the images
