Here is my spectra, taken from Mt. Re: New UVEX by Shelyak : first light

Looks good! Hope we can get custom gratings like Christian did in his prototype to work
with Shelyak Uvex; like the Thorlab 300 l/mm blazed at 1 micron!

Wonder if we can buy it without the calibration&guide module, since I already have an Alpy600 with these.

Re: another potentially bright supernova 2020hvf in NGC 3643

Here's my try at this rather bright extra galactic SN (Processed in IsisV5.93), shot from home on my CDK17 on 19May20 (in Red) and shot from Mt. Pinos, CA on 27May20 (purple) with my CC13 (33Cm aperture classical cassegrain): http://astroimage.info/spectra/_sn2020hvf_20200519&20200527.png I may ...

Re: potentially bright supernova in NGC4636

Nice work! I still have to work on my photometry of this object past 25Feb20.

I got some Alpy600 spectra of SN2020ftl, but need to process them latter...........almost no IR continuum seen as of 17Apr20 for SN2020ftl.

Re: UVEX --> UV

Nice work Pierre!

See if you can go to 3500A (Christian has gone to almost 3300A!)....I can get to 3610A with my Alpy600 after replacing the glass cover of my Atik414ex with
a UV clear one...the grism and astigmatism limits me going much below 3600A.

Re: Experience with UVEX3

To: Antonino,

Do you have any spectra below 4000A to show? So far your spectra looks great, but it would be nice to see
how far towards the UV you can go with your set-up.......
