row shift from darks-light-calibrated frames in 7.3.3.0

Post by Keith Shank »

Hello!
I noticed some new data spikes in my runs lately, using 7.3.3.0 for Lisa. I was seeing spikes in my finished data. I checked the images, and I have found that there is a shift from the location of hot pixels by 1 row in the light images resulting in duplicate hot pixels in the processed files. I am including 3 screen shots as examples (lots of files show this).
Screen shot 1 - Dark Frame - shows a hot pixel at 1266,182 @58364 value.
Screen shot 2 - Light Frame - shows a hot pixel at 1266,183 @ 20276 value
Screen shot 3 - Calibrated Image - shows TWO hot pixels, at 1266, 182 and 183 values 11855 and 2838. That shows that the image hot pixel was not fully reduced and a new hot pixel was added.

It seems that there is a row shift (no column shift) in either the dark or image frames.

Regards,
Keith
