Question related to the instrumental response correction

Post by Simon de Visscher »

Dear all,

I have one question regarding the correction of the instrumental response. In the "Assistant réponse" there is a flat field image calculation. For what I understand the series of flat to be indicated is the raw one, i.e. not treated. Can you confirm that the dark/offsets are subtracted from these flats in the response calculation process?

Best,

Simon

Replying to myself :D

After checking carefully some pixels values, the offsets and dark are subtracted.

If you are using ISIS, you can find tools for preparing flats, darks and offset images from multiple input files on the "masters" tab.
