Nouveau kit optique Sol'Ex/Star'Ex

Post by Olivier GARDE »

https://www.shelyak.com/produit/es0027- ... et-starex/

https://www.shelyak.com/produit/se0257-upgrade-starex/

http://www.astrosurf.com/solex/

Hello everyone,

A new optical kit for the Sol'Ex project initiated by Christian Buil is now available and includes elements optimized for the Star'Ex, (to take stellar spectra) and the optical elements to build an autoguiding module. There are of course also all the optical elements necessary to build a Sol'Ex for Sun scans, but the 80mm lens has been optimized for more efficiency in the blue of the spectrum (the H and K lines). The 80mm lens will also give better results in stellar spectroscopy (Star’Ex version)

The kit is now available on the Shelyak website:
https://www.shelyak.com/produit/es0027- ... t/?lang=en

And for those who already have the original optical kit, it's possible to get an upgrade of the original kit which includes the additional elements to achieve a star'Ex here:
https://www.shelyak.com/produit/se0257- ... e/?lang=en

The Sol'Ex project website has been completely redesigned by Christian Buil, with many video tutorials in support, you can consult it here:
http://www.astrosurf.com/solex/sol-ex-p ... on-en.html

Here's a video showing the use of the Star’ex version : https://youtu.be/SaRHc7dgSMo

An excellent video that will show you that you can easily make stellar spectra with a small instrument. Christian shows you step by step how to obtain a Vega Spectrum with a Star’Ex.

I remind you that there is also a discussion list dedicated to the Sol'Ex project, to register:

The Sol'Ex adventure continues!
