Recommended spectral resolution

Call for observations from Cezary Galan (Nicolaus Copernicus University, Torun, Poland) of the AZ Cas eclipse. The observation period for the campaign come from June 2012 to August 2014.

Here the spectral profile in function of resolution power (Lambda / Delta_Lambda) for AZ Cas:

For observe fine Halpha line evolution, resolution of R=10000 or upper is prefered
(the LISA spectra at R=1100 - 23 microns is for global near infrared survey -
High spectra resolution mandatory - I have used a special LISA with an infrared blazed grating ).

(but maybe worth to try Lhires with 1200l/mm grating – 23 microns slit...)
