Benji,

well... I continue my answers but I'm glad there are only a few campaigns at the moment! :-)

Robin Leadbeater is coordinating the amateur spectroscopy campaign and he recently published the stats: more than 800 spectra collected! Plus some from professional observatories he has access too. The main professional astronomer working with him and coauthoring lot of articles is Bob Stencel from Denver university I believe.

Check out ADS for professional articles: http://adsabs.harvard.edu/abstract_service.html
or arXiv Astro-ph: http://arxiv.org/archive/astro-ph

I'm sure Robin can provide you with more details and latest info on the campaign...

Cordialement,

Re.

Yes, I think it's important to have relationship with the professionnal astronomer who is working with our spectra.
And it's the same for all surveys.

Robin does a great work with Jeff about eps Aur.
Does Dr. Stence know about our work here?
Fresh news from him would be welcome.

"Dr Bob" Robert Stencel, University of Denver is the professional contact for anything connected with eps Aur. It is not a formal campaign though so it does not have a PI. He just encourages observations and advises observers. He can be found with other professionals and amateurs interested in eps Aur on the EpsilonAurigae Yahoo group
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/EpsilonAurigae

I maintain a list here of any amateur spectra of eps Aur I am made aware of
http://www.threehillsobservatory.co.uk/ ... pectra.htm
More information about the list and how to submit spectra can be found on the Campaign Website here.
http://www.hposoft.com/EAur09/Robin.html
The Campaign Website is run by amateur photometrist Jeff Hopkins.

Bob Stencel, Jeff Hopkins and I worked closely together during the eclipse and jointly wrote the regular newsletters on the campaign which can be accessed here
http://www.hposoft.com/Campaign09.html
I took over the writing up of the spectroscopy observations from the start of 2010 (NL#17)
