bug in Vspec slant tilt

Post by Robin Leadbeater »

Hi Valerie,

I have just tried the new slant/tilt measurement and correction feature in Vspec but the correction seems to be working in the wrong direction (The slant/tilt is larger after the correction) I have attached the fits files I used to test it

Cheers
Robin

Hi Robin
Thanks for pointing to the issue. I'm going to publish a fix.
Sending the data was key, and easy to fix. It is always a pb when tests are done with always the same spectrograph, you have alwyas same slant or tilt direction to fix...

Brain was not...I had to publish 406 - due to an improvement in the interface, the edition within the assistant of the files List_instru and List_obs was not possible (impossible to find the file was always displaeyd).
Shall be fixed by now.
