Thanks again Robin!
A little more work and I now have this -

- AGDra.png (4.62 KiB) Viewed 4330 times
which hopefully looks more like the recognised profile!
regards
Steve

Dear Steve,
Good, it looks correct.
You have just a hot pixel in the red edge of H béta.
Also, for a very precise instrumental response, see
http://www.astrosurf.com/buil/isis/guid ... uto_en.htm in which Christian Buil describes the smooth of the curve (" un poco ma non tropo")
If you agree, you can send me the fit file for the ARAS data base
Congratulations for the result
A good learning curve
Regards,
François

Excellent thanks for that Francois!
I have not sent any fits files to the forum before, do I send you the raw fits or the processed one?. The raw one I have is called AGDra600secs and the ISIS processed one is _AGDra and do I just attach it to a post?
regards
Steve

Hello Steve,
You send me the fit file obtained with ISIS (francoismathieu.teyssier at bbox.fr)
The name of the file must be something like (the treatemnt is automated in ISIS)
_agdra_20140427_029_SteveCulbert
All the best,
François
