BX Mon: egress of eclipse and peculiar continuum
Posted: Sat Apr 02, 2022 4:06 pm
The low excitation BX Mon is emerging from deep eclipse.
With spectra gathered by Franck Boubault and Woody Sims, we have a good mapping of the egress.
The evolution of the continuum is impressive.
Flux calibrated spectra of the event secured by Woody Daily spectroscopic and photometric (BVR) coverage until the solar conjunction is recommended.
Flux calibrated spectra will be a must
Last luminosity measured by Woody : V = 10.0
