The low excitation BX Mon is emerging from deep eclipse.
With spectra gathered by Franck Boubault and Woody Sims, we have a good mapping of the egress.
The evolution of the continuum is impressive.

Flux calibrated spectra of the event secured by Woody

Daily spectroscopic and photometric (BVR) coverage until the solar conjunction is recommended.
Flux calibrated spectra will be a must
Last luminosity measured by Woody : V = 10.0

Hello,

After some weeks of bad weather, yesterday night I rehearsed a BX Mon observation with not much good seeing, you can see the results here.

Great spectrum, Joan, Thanks!
Very impressive range and SNR at this luminosity.

The shape of H alpha is very interesting: this is uncommon is symbiotics that the absorption is displaced towards the red edge.

All the best,
François
