The spectrum is strongly reddened (see the shape of the continuum and the strength of interstellar Na I).
Fe II (42) mutliplet appears clearly.
OI lines (7776, 8446) in the near UV are very strong.

Hello all,

Here is my contribution to the monitoring of Nova Vul 2024.
I obtained the following spectrum calibrated in flux (magnitude measured V = 11.12) with a spectral range from 3700 to 7565 A the 3th of August at 0 h 02 UT with my Alpy 600 (resolution of 543, JJ = 2460525.5016) and an acquisition time of 40 min (4 x 600 s) :
Nova Vul 2024 on August 3th, 2024 (flux calibrated, 3700-7565 A)
Nova Vul 2024 on August 3th, 2024 (flux calibrated, 3700-7565 A)

Clear skies,

Christophe BOUSSIN

Hello,
Recent evolution of Nova Vul 2024 at low resolution. C-11 + LISA, R~1100, flux-calibrated with concurrent V-band photometry.

Here is some Photometric/Spectra I did on Nova V0515 Vulpecula:

LhiresIII (2400 ln/mm grat) with the CDK17 at F/10.5(barlow) for 03-13Aug24:
Image

C-14 at F/7 with ST-8xme & Astrodon IVB filtered, fully transformed photometric data for 03-12Aug24:
Image
(Purple-Red dots, brightest mag, are IR, then green for V and blue for photometric B)

LhiresIII (2400 ln/mm grat) with the CDK17 at F/10.5(barlow) for 03-13Aug24(animation-about 4 sec per frame...slow):

Still need to process Alpy600 data for 03-08Aug24. Will do some LISA-IR data on it as well.

James
