Very Interesting. Dr Heloise Stevance gave a talk at a BAA meeting this weekend on her work to develop a "Virtual Assistant" to initially classify transients from the ATLAS survey instruments. I have been confirming and classifying transients spectroscopically for many years, including some detected by ATLAS. I discussed with her about how best to select transients for amateur follow up and she mentioned Astro-Colibri (and also the RAPAS group who are interested in getting into this area)
