V1448 AQL End of Outburst

This star was in outburst in september 2009 and 2010.
New Buil's spectras of 2006 added BESS

Only one outburst observe since 2006

Hi Stephane, thank you for notification. I try to capture a spectrum with Lhires III and 1200 l/mm grating, finding (of course) similar intensities to your recent spectrum. Anyway an activity restart, compared with summer 2012, seems clear.
This profile is tellurics removed, I observed through some clouds and with a very humid climate (very bad weather period with thunderstorms every afternoon).
Probably we have to wait to see some evolution.

Hi Paolo,
Your spectrum has a very good SNR. We see very clearly a disaster recovery, this star seems evolve slowly but surely. There should be more regular spectra to show the rise which seems to me to be an abrupt transition.

Emission events can be slow or... fast... that's why it is important to have some good time resolution at R>5000
So, let's keep an eye on this star.
