Re: Spectrum of very planetary nebula Outters 2

Very interesting and congratulations to Nicolas :!: So if one has time to just shoot into somewhere into the deep sky and then substract the Sky background one could find something ¿? The exposure time of 10 x 300s is also an acceptable value for this kind of experiments. Maybe a trial in Wint...

Re: Beginning with a Lisa

Hi Rainer, Could you show us some same samples of your spectra. I remember you've got good (very) results François Hi Francois, Thanks for the Flowers  See below some recent spectrum images I have done and where I focused on approximately the 5000A to 6000A wavelength area. I am exposing now ...

Re: Beginning with a Lisa

Hi Benjamin M...... First, Lhires III is a excellent spectrograph but you forget an important point. The LISA spectrograph collimator focal length is 136 mm. The focal length of the objective lens is 82 mm. So, the internal magnification is 82/136 = 0.60. If you use a F/10 the telescope, the effect...

Rainer from Mexico

Hi, My name is Rainer Ehlert and I live in Mexico. I started with Astrospectroscopy in March 2011 with a Star Analyser and a bit later I acquired a LISA spectrograph. I use a Losmandy G11 modified mount with a Astro Tech 8" RC on which LISA is mounted. Some of you already know me as I made a lo...
