We have a request for observations of the Be Star ome CMa
Dear Valierie,
My name is Alex Carciofi, I’m a colleague of Thomas Rivinius working on Be stars.
In particular, I’m studying (with several other collaborators) the Be star 28 CMa. We have reasons to believe that the star should start a new outburst phase at any moment now. I bring this to your attention in case there is a possibility to warn the amateur spectroscopists about this, so they keep an eye on it.
Best regards,
Alex
Here is the observations we have so far in BeSS... Interesting what's the level of emission of the star now.
Valerie
