The comet is at the origin of Draconid meteors shower.
The object is observed by using the prism spectrograph SNAKE (see http://www.spectro-aras.com/forum/viewt ... 980#p10980) and a 250 mm f/4 Newton telescope. Here the CN ultraviolet emission :

It is a faint objet for the moment, m1=11.5 (note the guiding image exposed 20 sec. and my polluted sky (!))
A tentative for compare SNAKE spectrograph and Alpy 600 spectrograph (the spectral range covered by SNAKE is very limited but spectral resolution is superior, see http://www.astrosurf.com/buil/snake/) :

I suggest observations of this object from dark sky observatories.
